Ten day long dance workshop for children and youth concludes

JAMMU, April 14: Harman dance and educational social trust, upper gadi garh, Jammu concluded closing ceremony of ten days long dance workshop held in the premises of Harman dance institute. A multi cultural programme was organised by the participants of workshop at Ranjit college of education, Rakh Bandhu, Kunjwani, Jammu with the association of Nirvana Academy a cultural club, Guru Har Krishan Memorial School, Simbal and Ranjit College of Education. Programme was Supported by Pulse Dance Academy, Trance Dance Academy, Auspicious Dance Academy, Perfect Dance Academy, Sky Dance Institute, Envious Dance Academy, Swarn Digital Studio, Swastik Studio, Royal 69 DJ and Seven Dance Academy .


Sh. Kavinder Gupta, honorable speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly was the chief guest and Sh. Baldev Singh Billawaria, Jammu District president BJP, Sh. Ranjit Singh, Patron, Ranjit college of education and Sh. Raj Kumar, principal, K.V Miran Sahib Jammu were the guest of honour on the occasion. 


Program started with traditional lightening of lamp and followed by the welcome address by S. Manmeet Singh, chairman, Ranjit college of education. Opening performance by students of Harman dance institute enthralled the audience. More than 100 performers, artists and children participated in the programme. Students of various Dance institutes also gave their performances in the closing ceremony programme. Renowned Singer Anku Randhawa, Divinder Sheria and Rinku Bhatti also performed on the occasion.


Harman Dance and Educational Trust felicitate Sh. Hitesh Badyal Founder Nirvana Academy, Mr. Mushtaq Ali Actor,Director and leading dance choreographers of state namely Amit Dubey, Smiley Tanuja, Vikas, Nitin and Pankaj.


While speaking on the occasion, Sh. Kavinder Gupta said that youth and children of J&K State have lot of potential and these kinds of programmes and workshops provides platform to the budding artists. He stressed upon the role of youth in bringing peace in the state through these kinds of activities. 


He congratulated organisers Tajinder Singh, Gurvinder Sudan and Roshan Angurana for success of workshop and advised them to continue with these types of activities. Rajni Sharma anchored the programme and Vote of thanks was given by Jasleen kour, on the behalf of Harman dance and educational social trust.
